WADADA

Wadada seems to have
been one of the plethora of Reggae labels that made a brief appearance in
Britain in the 1970s. Mark Griffiths, who kindly drew the label to my
attention, says that it operated in 1978, and suggests that it may have
been owned by Wenty 'Wadada' Coke. Joe White's version of 'You'll Never
Find Another Love Like Mine' (WAD-301) seems to have been the company's only
release. The scan of it is the property of Col. Wolfe, of the 45cat site,
and appears here under a general agreement with some of that site's
Moderators.
