RED RAG
An independent label from Teddington, Middlesex, reportedly linked to an
artist management agency. Red Rag released its first record in 1976,
and it seems to have expired in the early '80s, after issuing around twenty
more. Catalogue numbers were in an RRR-000 series, which was shared by 12"
and 7" records alike, though there were not many of the
latter. The company specialized in Folk LPs, but it managed at
least two EPs: 'Just A Little Drink' by Dangerous Rhythm (RRR-020; 1979), and
comedian Stan Arnold's 'Stan Arnold Is Rude...' (RRR-019). Pressing
of that record was by Orlake.
