A Reggae label. Part of the Pama group, New Beat started life in 1968 as 'Nu Beat' and changed its name and design at the start of 1970. It survived until some time in 1971. Numbering was in a NB-000 series, which remained unchanged at the time of the transformation and eventually reached NB-096. The scan of the Nu Beat label appears by kind permission of Dr. Doom of the 45cat site. On a few singles the green colour was replaced by creamy white. The discography below only covers the 1970s.
