MILLER
Miller records were made by Mike Miller Music And Recording, of
Barrow-Upon-Soar, 'Mike Miller' being the stage name of musician, artist manager
and studio owner Mike Heston. The titles of such of its products as I
have been able to track down indicate that it made custom
recordings. The New Parks Ringers EP shown above dates from
1981, by which time the company had moved a few miles down the road to Syston;
its catalogue number indicates that at least 44 Miller records were made,
but they've proven google-resistant - the only ones that I have
managed to trace are listed below. The various types of record shared
the same M-100 numbering series, with different suffixes for each: SL for
albums, SEP or S for EPs, and SS for singles. The studio is still in
business today (2013), at Syston, as 'White House
Sound'.
