Another enigma, but a highly collectable one. Mandala issued a single by Chris Garrett & Sweet Poison, 'Family Man' b/w 'Cold 'n' Rainy', in 1975. The music on the record has been described as Hard Rock Psych, whatever that may be. The catalogue / matrix number, MDS-59, doesn't fit into any series of which I am currently aware. There's a 'DER' in the run-off, which suggests that the master was cut by Deroy; the style of the matrix number, which is separated by plus signs, is typical of Orlake.
