LEROY (3)
A DIY label. Johnny 'Snowball' Leroy's single 'He'll
Have To Go' b/w 'I'll Go Where Your Music Takes Me' (JSL-1) appears to have been
Leroy's only release. The picture sleeve was more informative than the
labels: it revealed that the company responsible for making the record was
Denman Discs (q.v.), of Nottingham, and it also gave an alternative catalogue
number, DD-104, which fits into Denman's own numerical series and suggests a
release date of 1977 or thereabouts. Thanks to Klepsie of the 45cat site
for bringing the label to my attention, and also to Musicman56 of the same site,
to whom the scan belongs.
