Hub Cap seems to have been either a DIY label or a short-lived independent company. It came and went in 1978, the year when DIY records were beginning to mushroom. A single by New Wave band Sore Throat, 'Complex' b/w 'I Dunno' (SPIN-1), appears to have been its only release. The band went on to record for Hurricane and Albion (q.v. both) later in the '70s, which may have rendered Hub Cap redundant. Thanks to Robert Bowes for sending the scan.
