This 'Hit Records' appears to have been a small independent concern from Yorkshire. Its first release was an EP called 'Breaking Out', by Pub Rock / Punk band Squeeler, which came out in 1979 and had a catalogue number of H.I.T.-101. Its second - and apparently its last - was a single by Rock 'n' Roll outfit Wolf J. Flywheel, '76948 (Jack Day)' b/w 'Great Balls Of Fire' (H.I.T.-102), which was issued the following year.
