HARBOR
Another obscurity. Given the American spelling,
you would imagine that Harbor originated in the USA; but I haven't been able to
confirm that - if you search for 'Harbor Records' on Google you'll get tons of
information about all sorts of nautical establishments but sweet nothing about
the label pictured above. The few examples I have seen, however, were
British in origin. From Music Master we gather that there were at
least twelve Harbor singles, that they were issued from
c.1979-c.81. Numbering was in the HBR-0s; HBR-12, 'Teenage Boogie',
was by Rock 'n' Roll revivers the Flying Saucers. Distribution was
initially by Pinnacle and latterly by Spartan. The discography below
only covers 1979. The second scan appears by courtesy of Robert
Bowes.
