A small independent label from 1979. The second Easy label of the '70s was responsible for at least two records. The first was an EP by a band called Hazard; it contained the tracks 'Love Will Keep Us Together', 'Fooled Around (And Fell In Love)', 'Long Train Runnin'', and 'The Way We Were' (ER-01; 1979). The second was Silent Noise's collectable self-financed Power Pop single 'I've Been Hurt (So Many Times Before)' b/w 'Heart To Heart' (ER-02; 1979). Silent Noise were from Norwich, so it seems like a reasonable bet that Easy was too. The EJSP matrix numbers - EJSP-9250 and EJSP-9270 respectively - indicate that the records were made through Ellie Jay (q.v.). The facts that the single was self-financed and that the EP was of a 'Club / Cabaret band' nature suggest that whoever was behind the Easy label ran it as a custom recording concern.
