EAST ANGLIAN MAGAZINE

Perhaps unsurprisingly, East Anglian Magazine is a magazine which deals in subjects of interest to the people of East Anglia.  Based in Ipswich, it appears to have been first published in 1935.  A Spoken Word EP by James Wentworth Day entitled 'Rum Owd Folk' seems to have been its first venture into the field of recordings.  The EP came out in 1973, and had no catalogue number; its matrix number was COUN-242, which shows that it was a product of the County Recording Service (q.v.), of Bracknell.  An LP of folklore and dialect, 'East Anglian Pageant' (EAM-12), followed in 1977.

Address in 1973:  6, Great Colman Street, Ipswich.
