DOG BREATH

A small independent label apparently associated with Bray Sound Studios of Windsor.  Dog Breath was the vehicle for just one single in the 1970s, 'K9 Hassle' b/w 'Idi Amin' and 'Sweeney Todd', by the K9's (WOOF-1), which came out in 1979 and proved popular enough to deserve reissuing.  The label did however have a new lease of life in the mid 1980s, putting out a couple of singles by the Geisha Girls and one by The Complaints during 1983-85.  There was also a Various Artists album, 'Too Loud To Scream' (WOOF-12), which, sadly, was undated, but which again seems to be from the mid '80s.  Nick Horne was involved with at least four of Dog Breath's releases, so it seems reasonable to think that he may have been the driving force behind the label.  Thanks to Nicholas Hough for the first scan, and to Gary Kelt for the second and third, which come from a reissue.
