A one-off label; a vehicle for a self-financed single by The Damned, 'Love Song' (SGS-105; 1978). The single was only available at gigs and via mail order. There was nothing dodgy about it at the time, but it is reported to have been heavily bootlegged since. Nicholas Hough, who was kind enough to bring the label to my attention and supply the scan, had to confess to not being sure that the record from which the scan was taken was one of the originals, but even if it isn't it will give an idea of what the label looked like. The catalogue / matrix number belonged to a series used by SGS Studios (q.v.) of South London.
