BROADSIDE
An
independent label from Tettenhall, Wolverhampton. Broadside's output
consisted mainly of albums, but it issued at least one EP, Goliard's, 'Music At
Warwick Castle' (SBRO-001; 1978). The company concentrated upon
Black Country talent, with the likes of Folk artists Kempion and Bob Swallow; it
is most often encountered in the form of the 'Black Country Night Out' comedy
LPs. Broadside had a small subsidiary, Jester's Court (q.v.).
