This second A1 label was one of the many short-lived DIY labels of the Punk / New Wave era. It was based in Linlithgow, West Lothian, and it issued two self-financed seven-inches, both by Edinburgh Punk band Freeze. First to appear was an EP, 'In Colour' featuring the tracks 'Paranoia', 'For J.P.S.' and 'Psychodalek Nightmares' (A1-1A1; 9/79); it was followed by a single, 'Celebration' b/w 'Crossover' (A1-1S1; 1980). Distribution was by Pinnacle. The band changed its name to Cindytalk in 1982, and moved to London. Thanks to Robert Bowes for the scan.
