YAWBUS
Yawbus seems to have been one of the hundreds of little
one-off DIY labels with which the '70s were peppered. A 1978 EP by a
band called Subway appears to have been its only release. The four
tracks on the EP, 'I'll Meet You At Midnight', 'When You Walk In The Room',
'Dreamin'', and 'Love Potion No. 9', were all cover versions, and they suggest
that Subway was a Club / Cabaret band. The two sides of the record had
different catalogue numbers, R-0001 and R-0002; if there was an R-0003 / R-0004,
or any other combination, googling has failed to come up with it.
