Westminster Productions was the resident theatre production company of London's Westminster Theatre. The theatre was owned by MRA (Moral Re-Armament: a movement originating in America in the late 1930s which tried to promote Christian morality) and was dedicated to putting on productions that looked at issues in the light of the Christian faith. These productions spawned at least three 7" records: two EPs of songs from 'Give A Dog A Bone' (WP-1 and WP-2) in 1964, and one from the musical revue 'GB' which coupled Gladstone Adderley's upbeat 'Man For Our Times' with Penny Croft's reflective 'Hello Light' (WP-300; 3/1973). Penny Croft was the daughter of the co-creator of 'Dad's Army', David Croft, and she had a very pleasant singing voice - perhaps she still has, for all I know. Pressing of all three records was by Orlake. There was also an 'MRA Productions' label, but it seems to have been from the 1960s rather than the 1970s and is thus outside the scope of this site.
