RORY
Rory appears to
have issued just the one record, a single by Rory Blackwell, 'Daddy Don't You Walk So
Fast' b/w 'Drum Rhapsody'. It had a catalogue number of
SJP-763, which was taken from a series used by the Fair Deal studio of Hayes for
records on its Stuart Johnson Productions and Clubland labels (q.v. both). There was
no date on the single, but records with catalogue numbers close to that came out
in 1976 and the sleeve of my copy has that year written on
it. The same two tracks featured on Rory Blackwell EPs on the equally
fleeting Stryka and Uncle Rory's Record labels (q.v.). He also released an LP on
Ellie Jay, 'Two Sides Of Rory Blackwell' (EJR-604; 1978).
