ROOTS (TS prefix)

There were two Roots labels in the 1970s, and both of them dealt in Reggae; this was the first on the scene.  It appears to have issued just a couple of singles, both of them in 1974: 'I'm Alone' by Johnny Clarke (TS-1001), and Vivian Jackson & The Prophets's, '72 Nations Bow' b/w 'Ya Be You' (TS-100).  Both were published by Tree Root Music, which may be the company behind the label, and both were manufactured by independents C.H. Rumble.  Thanks to Charlie Chalk of the 45cat site for permission to use his scan here.
