Red Lion appears to have been a DIY label. It put out at least a couple of records, both of them by a Country band called Sounds Different. One was an album, 'Hard Times'; the other was an EP containing two original tracks in 'Born To Soon' and 'Twiylight Man' along with a cover version of 'Tennessee Border' and (a novel idea) a Shadows-ish guitar instrumental rendering of a slice of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto. Manufacture was by Phonodisc, as the injection moulded labels suggest, and the date of release of the EP was 1976.
