An independent label, owned by Dave Kitson and based in London. Red Flame issued most of its records in the 1980s, but one single came out in 1979 and earned the company a mention on this site. The single in question was Carmel's, 'Storm' (RF-7-1; 1979); it was reissued in 1982, through Rough Trade, with a slightly different catalogue number, RF-701. The scan shown above, which appears by courtesy of Robert Bowes, is of that reissue. The label kept going until 1988.
