RADIC
A Reggae label. Radic was one of several EMI-distributed
labels whose singles shared a RIC-100 catalogue series from 1979-c.83; Mark
Griffiths writes that it was owned by EMI and that the series was used for
licensed Reggae product. Two of the other labels, Arawak and More
Cut, also shared the same company sleeve and the same label design, only the
logo being different. The third, fourth and fifth, Matumbi, Deb Music
and Taxi, didn't. The numbers reached RIC-118 by October
1983. The discography below only covers Radic records; a list of
all the RIC-100s can be found on the 'MR.' page.
