NIVRAM

Nivram was
a DIY label, and was presumably named after the band whose records appeared
on it. It issued just the one record: a singles, 'I'll
Wait' backed with 'Tomorrow' (NR-1001 / 2) which out in
1979. Both sides had their own catalogue number, which fooled me into
thinking that there were two separate singles; I am indebted to Steve Hill
for correcting that impression. The record had a matrix number
of EJSP-9273, which indicates that custom recording firm Ellie Jay was behind
it. Thanks to Robert Bowes for bringing the label to my attention, and to
Nicholas Hough for providing the scan.
