JAH LION
A Reggae label, but I
suppose you'd guessed as much. Mark Griffiths writes that Jah Lion was
owned by Les Cliff in association with Winston Curtis, and that it was connected
to Empire Records (q.v.). It operated from 1975-81, and seems to have
concentrated on 12" singles for the latter part of its existence. The
discography below only lists such 7" records as I have managed to find; there
were also at least eight 12" singles, numbered in a JLDC-600 series.
