A Reggae label, owned by James Winston Thompson, who is better known as 'Dr. Alimantado'. ISDA was a Jamaican company, but the label indicates that it had a British office at 53 Eton Avenue, Swiss Cottage, London. Its first release over here was Trinity's, 'Tallie De Banana' (ISDA UK REL-1001; 1978); it served mainly as a vehicle for material by Dr. Alimantado, usually in 12" format. ISDA had a sister-label, Vital Food (q.v.). Thanks to Robeert Bowes for the scan.
