Charity Records were made for the Shaftesbury Society and were sold in aid of that charity. So far I have only been able to trace one record on the label, an EP of Christmas carols by the Winchester Cathedral Choir And Organ. It came in a picture cover, and featured the 'Sussex Carol' and five other tracks. The catalogue number was SC-1001, and pressing was by Pye. There is no date on the label, but Sam Mauger remembers getting one, new, from a shop in 1972, which suggests that '72 is a good bet. Thanks to Sam for providing that information and thus enabling me to give Charity a place on this site.
