BUSTOP
A one-off DIY label
from Scotland. Bustop was a band from Falkirk; they put out a
self-financed single, 'Lady Of The Night' b/w 'More And More', on their own
label in 1978. Its catalogue number, CPS-011, was one of a series
used by Edinburgh's REL Studios for private recordings: see also Malt Mill and
Burning Bing. The matrix numbers, LYN-5416/9, indicate a Lyntone
pressing. The band changed name and musical direction and put out a single
'Socorro Connection' (BGC-215) on the BGS label (q.v.) the following year as
Passport. Thanks to Stephen Small for the scan and for the discographical
information.
