BROADSIDE

An independent label from Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.  Broadside's output consisted mainly of albums, but it issued at least one EP, Goliard's, 'Music At Warwick Castle' (SBRO-001; 1978).   The company concentrated upon Black Country talent, with the likes of Folk artists Kempion and Bob Swallow; it is most often encountered in the form of the 'Black Country Night Out' comedy LPs.  Broadside had a small subsidiary, Jester's Court (q.v.).
