BODYSHOP

A mystery.  All I can say about Bodyshop Records is that a Rock / R&B band had a four-track EP on that label released through Beck Studios (q.v.) of Wellingborough, with a Beck catalogue / matrix number of BECK-873.  There's no band name on the label - perhaps they may have been called 'Bodyshop' themselves? - nor is there a date of issue, but comparison with other Beck records enables us to pin the year down to 1979.  In addition to the tracks shown on the scan above, the EP offered 'Deaf, Dumb, Crippled & Blind' and 'Train', the latter affording the blues harp player a chance to take a solo.  Any information about the band or the label would be welcome.
