The Blue Mountain Band was a long-lived British dance band, dedicated to playing American dance music. Over the course of its thirty-odd years of existence it made a number of records, notably for EFDSS (the English Folk Dance and Song Society); at least one EP, 'American Reels', appeared on the band's own Blue Mountain Band label. Its catalogue number, BMB-72, suggests that there may have been others, though perhaps not many - the series, if there was one, may well have begun at BMB-70. Alternatively, it is quite possible that the '72' in the catalogue number may be a reference to the year of issue. There's no date on the label, but the recording was in stereo, which in 7" terms makes it more likely to be a '70s product than a '60s one, so I've included it here with a certain amount of confidence.
