The first of two Big V labels to surface in the 1970s. This Big V was a product of Morgan Jones Recording Services of Denmark Street, London. The only record on the label that I have seen was 'In My Direction' by Vivian Evans (BIG V-1), which was issued in 1972; a copy went for £16 on ebay recently (January 2009). Vivian Evans reissued the single on his own LOS Records in 1981. It was a sprightly, summery sort of pop song, and arguably it deserved better than the obscurity into which it slipped.
