One of scores of independent Reggae labels which came and went during the 1970s and 1980s. There was no date on the only BG record that I have seen pictured, Ranking Lover's 'Mount Zion Lover' (BG-003) - indeed, as can be seen, the label offered the minimum amount of information - but it is reported to have been issued in 1976. BGs first single, Paulette Walker's 'Wave Of War' (BG-001), may well have only been available as a 12".
