BETHNAL
Bethnal wasn't a label as such, but the name will serve to
identify the record shown above, 'The Fiddler' by Bethnal. The
single had a catalogue number of VIOL-001, was made in 1977 and was
given away free at gigs. It may well have been a promotional
tool made by Vertigo, the company to which the band signed, though there's
nothing on the single to pin it down as being a Vertigo product. Bethnal
was a Punk band which stood out among the competition as being (one of?)
the first to feature a violinist.
