The Belt and Braces Roadshow Company was a Socialist theatre company. It was founded by Gavin Richards in 1973, and in addition to its work in the field of drama it issued a couple of records on its own label, both by the Belt And Braces Roadshow Band. BB-001 was an eponymous album, and was produced by Martin Hannett; BB-002 was a single, 'Fight For The Right To Work' b/w 'Resistance'. The single, which came out in 1978, has been described broadly as 'Folk Rock'. It was manufactured by Lyntone, the matrix numbers being LYN-5806 and 5807.
