BBC WILDLIFE SOUND EFFECTS

A specialist branch of the BBC's Sound Effects Centre records.  The same caveat applies to these as to the main catalogue: I don't think these EPs were available to the general public, but as they seem to have been available to production companies I've decided to include them on this site.  The EPs came in two forms: mono recordings, with red-and-white labels, and stereo recordings, with dark-blue-and-white labels.  Numbering was in an NH-0 series; records up to around NH-50 had an 'A' suffix, which was replaced by a 'Z' from that point onwards.  There are no dates on most of the labels, and where dates are given they show when the recording was made, not when it was made available.  I haven't been able to determine when the first EPs were made, but some of the later ones have tracks on them which were recorded in the 1970s; anything after NH-82-Z would appear to be from the '80s, as a track on that EP was recorded in May 1980.  The discography below only covers records with catalogue numbers lower than that, as they may be from the '70s.  There are quite a few gaps in it, and any help in filling them would be welcome.  Stereo EPs are marked with an asterisk; a hash marks those that I haven't yet seen pictured to tell whether they're stereo or mono.
