BAMBOO (2)

The second Bamboo label of the 1970s was also a Reggae label.  It was, however, much shorter-lived and far less prolific than the first one had been - in fact, it seems to have released just the one single, 'Let The People Talk' b/w 'Let The People Talk (Take Two)' by the Reinforcement Band.  The single's catalogue number was SRB-001, and it came out in or not long after Spetember 1978.  According to 'Music Week' of the 9th of September this Bamboo was a product of small independent company Storm Records (q.v.), of Blackpool, and the Reinforcement Band was from Leeds.  Turning the 'OO' of the 'Bamboo' logo into a 'smiley' was a pleasant touch.  The 'smooth outer circle, rough inner circle' appearance of the label suggests an Orlake pressing.  Thanks to Robert Bowes for the scan.
