A DIY label. Balloon seems to have existed solely for the purpose of releasing a single by the Jeff Hill Band, 'Something's Wrong With My Baby' b/w 'Whatever She Wanted' (BLOW-001; 12/79). The record was made through custom recording firm SRT, as the matrix number, S/79/CUS-557, shows. Unlike most DIYers, Hill had previous form: he had had a single out on Chiswick a couple of years earlier, 'I Want You To Dance With Me' b/w 'Feel Like Loving You' (NS-16; 8/77).
