A DIY label from the Punk / New Wave years. Backbone seems to have issued at least two singles, all by label owner Steve Treatment, who also released a single on the Rather label. His first record on Backbone was, 'Heaven Knows' (ZBHIT-1; 1978); the second was, 'Change Of Plan' (ZBHIT-2; 1979). Thanks to Sam Mauger for the scan.
