1978
A DIY label, dating, as you've probably guessed, from
1978. The only record to appear on the 1978 label appears to have
been Punk band Rouge's, 'Have You Seen Gene' b/w 'Hard To Rock And Roll'
(SRTS/CUS-78104). Unsurprisingly, it came out in 1978. As
the catalogue number indicates, the record was made
through through custom-recording firm SRT; the
pressing appears to have been done by Orlake. Garry Brogden was
kind enough to supply the scan, along with the information that the band had
previously been 'conventional long-haired pub rockers' but had embraced Punk
Rock when it came along. Thanks to him for both.
